The Soul Cellar
The Soul Cellar is a popular music venue at the heart of Southampton’s Cultural Quarter. As they were beginning to increase the number of live shows at the venue, they wanted a system to allow booking directly with them as opposed to one of the market-leading ticket agents who they were finding difficult to work with.
The main site had been excellently designed by a local company and the proprietors wanted to keep this layout for the ticket booking sections. We laised with the original designer to produce a seamless integration between the old and new sites.
The venue also needed a new online merchant account to process the payments for their bookings. We helped them through the process and advised on how the achieve preferential transaction rates from their provider. We also setup their account with our payment service provider (PSP) partner Secure Trading to allow their payments to be taken online.
