Swanage Railway
A heritage railway located on this beautiful South Coast holiday destination, Swanage Railway run Santa Special and Dining Train events as well as carrying many thousands of passengers on their standard timetable.
In 2008 they identified the need to employ a booking system to take the strain off volunteers for amongst other things their busiest ‘event’ the annual Santa Special trains.
Our vTicket system provided them with this, including of course their own specially design thermal tickets, ticket wallets and windowed envelopes.
In 2009 we added our e-commerce module to allow them open their online merchandise shop for business. This has been a huge success, allowing them to ‘sell up’ and cross-sell merchandise to those buying tickets as well as just being a great resource for the heritage railway enthusiasts.
