Wilson Digital Media has announced production of The Classic Rock & Metal Podcast.
Almost eight months in the planning, the podcast is a project to primarily produce one of the best music related podcasts available, but its intention is also to go beyond the subject matter and show what can be achieved in terms of new media content on an extremely small budget.
The show will be produced monthly and contain news, interviews, gig reports, genre retrospectives, features and pre-cleared or podcast safe music.
Aside from the actual content of the show, the project will demonstrate that viral and well-targeted print and online marketing can generate a loyal audience for this kind of programming.
